How to detect fake hair from original human hair
Almost every girl can tell that they've been duped into buying fake human hair at least once. Human hair is supposed to be seen like an investment as it is supposed to last for over ten years and even more.
This post will help us not to make the same mistake again;
The hair should be smooth if you rub it downward, but resists and feels different if you rub it upward. Synthetic hair is smooth whichever way you rub it.
Even if it's a straight hair, it must be able to curl. Make an attempt to curl the weave, if it still stays straight, then it is cleary synthetic.
Human hair tangles too but not as much as synthetic hair. The longer the hair, the more likely it is to tangle especially at the back of the neck, but this should not worry you much. If the tangling is excessive, be wary.
This too, can happen with human hair but if it is excessive, it is not genuine. Shedding should only be a few strands when you comb through. Sealing the wefts of the weave will ensure the hair stays on. Comb the weave with a wide tooth comb from the tips to the roots to reduce shedding.
Check the fiber of the hair closely! If the hair is really mixed with synthetic hair, you can find out. You can test it by putting a flat iron to it and examining the smell of the hair. If the hair burns badly, it’s fake hair.
When you bleach human hair, it lightens very fast depending on the grade. If it is fake, it will most likely burn.
7.) If you must buy human hair online be sure to check the feedbacks. Some pages might post fake feedbacks, so you can personally ask the people who might have been tagged for wearing their hairs on how authentic it is.
Note- Human hairs are always more expensive, however, be careful of sellers that might overhype the price of fake hair just to make buyers think its human hair. So dont just buy based on price alone, check the quality.
